State forestry agency "Logoiski Forestry" Minsk State Production Forestry Association was founded in 1936 and located in the northern part of the Minsk region in Logoysky Administrative Region.

   From north to south forestry stretches for 62 km from east to west - 51 km. He is the second largest in the Minsk region, Borisov after. From 116.4 thousand ha of forestry are covered with forest 109.8 ha. Percentage of forest area is 51.3 percent, well above the forest cover in the Minsk region and the republic.
   Forests of the first group are 75 percent of the forest of the second group - 25 percent. The age structure of the following: young 18 percent of middle 58 percent, 18 percent of ripening, ripe and overripe 6 percent. The following species: pine - 54,3 percent, spruce - 16,4, birch - 22,6, aspen - 2.9, black alder - 2,2, alder - 1,0, other (oak, maple, ash , poplar) - 0,6 percent. Coniferous plantations have an average age of 58 years, soft-leaved - 45 years old, hard - 29 years.
   Allowable on the main use for 2011 - 119.3 thousand m3, including coniferous economy - 63,4 thousand m3. Total stock of plantations is 25.1 million m3. In forestry work 468 people.

The composition of forestry include:

- 11 forest districts: Logojsky , Red-Swabian , Kozyrskoe , Pleshchenitsy , Kamenskoe , Okolovskaya , Kreisky , Zadorevskoe , Semkovskys , Yurkovichskoe , Nestanovichskoe .
- forest nursery ;
- Workshops of plot;
- 39 forest sites;
-180 Forest rounds.

   On the basis of secondary schools Logoisk district and operate 11 school forestry. Behind them is enshrined in a total of 2.7 thousand hectares of forest. In the forest areas are regularly held forestry workers and forestry variety of classes. Pupils are engaged in planting, seed collection, production sinichnikov and birdhouses, collecting medicinal plants, cleaning litter around the settlements, are involved in forest protection. Pupils are promoting respect for nature among their peers and communities.

   The main purpose of the Establishment is the preservation and creation in the territory transferred to the Institution of the forest fund of highly productive, high quality, biologically stable, optimal age and species composition of forests and fauna that meet current environmental, social and economic needs of society and the state, taking into account the basic requirements of the legislation to forest management.
   The main task of the Institution is a quality organization of forest management aimed at achieving the main goals of the institution.
   The subject of the Institution is forest management on the selection in the prescribed manner of the Forest Fund of the Republic of Belarus.
